This event will happen on Saturday 14 June 2025.
It will start at 2pm and finish at 5pm.
The event will happen at LUX, a gallery in Waterlow Park.
This event will show early AIDS activist videos.
The videos are part of London Community Video Archive and LUX.
The videos are about people who took action in the early days of AIDS.
We will learn how people made videos about AIDS and LGBTQIA+ lives.
We will also talk about how this history can help us today.
AIDS is a serious health condition.
It happens when a person’s body cannot fight illness.
This is because their immune system is very weak.
AIDS is caused by a virus called HIV.
People with HIV can take medicine to stay healthy.
LGBTQIA+ is a short way to talk about people’s gender and who they love.
The event starts with a screening.
